“Leadership functions on the basis of trust. Always has, always will.”
Trust is an essential ingredient for any high-performance, successful organization. In all areas, trust affects every relationship-from the personal to the broadest. The world is changing
quickly. Big will not necessarily beat small anymore. It will be the fast to build trust organization beating those who are slow to do so. If you are in a competitive industry, such as healthcare or senior care, it is essential to build trust quickly.
As we reflect on the word TRUST for this week, consider the following characteristics that are associated with building trust as leaders:
Open communication of values
Focus on team goals rather than personal agendas
Listen to understand
Connect with others through empathy
As you work on building trust with your teams, I would love to hear about your successes. Have a wonderful week!
